When princesses cook, they wear their poofiest dresses.
When princesses cook, they stand on chairs to reach the counter, and they chop their mushrooms with care and intensity.
A princess never, ever bruises a mushroom.
When a princess’s mother cooks the mushrooms with her back to the princess, the princess may take the opportunity to up-end the sugar bowl and a container of flour.
And if the mother thinks she can keep taking pictures while the princess creates, then the mother relinquishes all rights to reprimand the princess.
How else will a princess ever become a great chef?
Next week: When Princesses Sail the Seven Seas.

Gorgeous - what a good sharer you are! BEats an apron for sure.
Cheers
My own princess does the exact same thing with the sugar, salt, flour…anything she can combine to make her own gourmet concoction!
That is such a precious set of pictures!
That is AWESOME! I have a three year old Princess (La Princepessa) who has a similar princess dress, in which she also does everything, including playing outside with trucks.
Adorable photos and stories.

Using My Words
It’s also important togetyourfaceveryclose to the cutting board. For maximum precision.
I love that you’ve got her in the kitchen with real ingredients and real tools. It’s nice to be a princess, but it’s even better to have a skill.
Absolutely wonderful pictures. I so look forward to cooking with my grandson. Love of cooking is one of the best gifts you can give to a child.
Ah, yes, the princess cooking sessions. We have those often at our house what with two princesses who love to “cook.” Actually, though, my nine year old can cook a few things completely independently of me. It’s the six year old princess that still needs some guidance.
From what I understand, princesses who sail the high seas are usually kidnapped by pirates.
Unless they happen to be of the Laura Croft variety.
Maybe she should take that knife, just in case.
love it! i might love to cook too if i could wear a poofy dress and my mom would clean up after me.
She would fit right in at my place, since that’s my cooking outfit too.
Love it! I am not sure how I found your blog, but I am a big fan, of only 3 days! We too had three babies in quick succession, 3 in 3 years. We too have a broken down house that we are forever working on. And we too have a princess who cooks in her poofiest dress. She also hits her brothers, with her purse, in her poofiest dress.
Sounds like a very very wise mother
My dress is at the cleaners.
Darn cooking splatters…
Blessings,
K
That’s exactly how I cook!

Oh… the blogger’s dilemma… to take pictures or to stop naughty behavior… it’s always such a tough call!
Oh geez. And just when I thought I was okay with having only boys. That is seriously adorable.
Oh man, and she has a Cinderella cameo that perfectly sets off the dress. Serious cuteness.
These are so sweet!
Hrh is too sweet ,I love it,I have to show it to my hrh the princess she what she thinks.and she’s so serious too.
I love those! Thanks.
Oh, I am in love with these pictures. They will be priceless to you someday. Cooking, creating, in a Cinderella dress. It’s little girlness in all it’s messy beauty.
So cute!!
Honestly, she is my daughter’s kindred spirit! My middle child-4 yrs old-does EVERYTHING in her yellow ‘Belle” Gown. I mean everything. She ‘went to Grandma’s house’ in it last week…let’s not forget that she ALSO had her ruby red gliter shoes on with it
