The baby was born at 00:09 this morning weighing nine pounds, eight ounces and twenty-one inches long. Mother and baby are healthy and resting.

Oh, yay!!!! That’s an even bigger baby than the Pie (who was 9 lbs, 7 oz). Congratulations!
Oh, I just took a second look at the time - 9 minutes into the day! She really wanted to be born on the 18th, I guess. It’s an auspicious birthday - it was my grandmother’s (who lived well past the age of 90) and my first cat’s (a long-lived and most extraordinary feline). I think it’s a lucky day, a blessed baby.
