Pausing for Pregnancy
October 17, 2006 by Veronica Mitchell
Thanks to everybody who has been visiting and commenting. This pregnancy is wearing me out, especially as I try to get the house in order for selling. I feel so foggy and exhausted most days that I feel I have little of interest to say. I think I will take a blog hiatus for a week or two, and see if that revives the urge.
See you after a while.

Pregnancy is tiring. I always felt like my brain was just gone whenever I was pregnant, a not-unpleasant emptiness. Have a productive break!
Good luck with everything! Hope you’re feeling better after the hiatus.
I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering if this was the case. Thank you for letting us know you will be taking a break. Good luck with the house stuff. You have two huge projects under way! No wonder you are exhausted.
Rest well!
A bientôt mon amie. Take care and be back soon
I’m sorry that you feel so rough, but I can’t imagine feeling that way, having two active little ones, a husband, a home and blogging, too. Take care of yourself and we will be here when you feel better and start to blog again.
you have a lot on your plate, I don’t blame you for being worn out. take care, sweetie.
If you are doing any blog reading — check my blog called “Lovely Tradition”. It is about a baby bonnet/wedding tradition. If it would cheer you up while you feel so ill, I would love to make you one for the coming child. If you could let me know in the next two weeks before I leave for Florida (so I can take my silk embroidery with me), I would love to make one for the arrival of SweetPea’s or JellyBean’s sibling.
I’m amazed that anybody keeps up their blog energy while pregnant. Take a rest. We’ll all be here, waiting for you, whenever you’re ready.
Just wanted to say hi! I totally understand your need for a break, and I hope that you are getting some much-needed rest. I also wanted to let you know that you’re not forgotten by your blogosphere friends.
Hope your break gives you some extra brainspace and a much needed rest!
I hear you there. It really does get better late, doesn’t it? I’m trying to remember, but I don’t seem to have that capacity anymore either.
[...] Dec 12th, 2006 by Veronica Mitchell Last year I asked Julie of The Bookworm to join me in posting about chick lit. I thought we could post simultaneously and generate a little discussion on the subject. There were two problems with this idea: first, it turned out we both hated chick lit so much that reading even a few basic books on the subject was painful, and second, I was a tired pregnant lady whose posts were slacking off into nothing.
